Reunion featured softball players from five decades (includes slideshow)

Campus mainstay and professor emerita Becky Sisley coached many softball teams and served as the school's first and only director of women's intercollegiate athletics. Some of the University of Oregon's first softball teams had to share their uniforms with players in other sports.

Campaign Oregon: Gifts received help young students achieve awareness in art

The museum made cards out of designs created by grade schoolers as part of the NewArt Northwest -- Kids 2007 program. Colorful, hand-created thank you cards from Oregon students in kindergarten through 12th grades adorn walls and desks at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. The messages, part in art and part in meaningful words, all express the students' appreciation for the positive difference their museum experience has made in their lives.
